Day 1: Costa del Sol to Fez

Departure from Tarifa or Algeciras (depending on your pickup location). Then, embark on a ferry ride and admire views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea as you cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. Swap to a coach and travel onward to Fez, a city often cited as the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco, and your base for the next two nights. Check in to your hotel in time for dinner, and relax overnight. Overnight.

Day 2: Fez

Enjoy breakfast before heading out for your tour of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial cities of Morocco. From the comfort of your coach, admire sights such as Fez Royal Palace, the Christian and Jewish quarters, and the enchanting UNESCO-listed medina. Listen to the entertaining commentary from your onboard guide to help bring to life the incredible Fez sights as you explore.

Finish your tour by enjoying lunch at a restaurant in town, and then spend the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps explore the bustling streets and steps that make up the labyrinthine medina, or wander amid colorfully chaotic market stalls in the souks.

In the evening, try out a city restaurant independently, or let your guide take the hassle out of deciding where to go by enjoying an excursion to a traditional Moroccan folk show and dinner (own expense).Overnight.

Day 3: Fez - Meknes - Rabat - Tangier

Savor breakfast in your hotel, and then relax on your short coach ride to Meknes, a gem of a city, not far from Fez. See its highlights on a whistle-stop coach tour of the central districts and take in its impressive Imperial fortifications including the great Mansour Gate as well as several palaces, mosques, gardens and lakes.

Next, travel to Rabat, the country's capital, where you'll enjoy an afternoon coach tour. Discover its coastal sights as well as the beguiling Islamic and European architecture. Look out for famous monuments such as the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower.

Then, travel to Tangier, a cosmopolitan coastal city that basks on the peripheries of the Med and Atlantic. Gaze out of your coach window to admire the palm-fringed beaches, mosques and shopping souks — all framed by the wind-whipped Rif mountain range. After getting your bearings, finish with a drop-off at your hotel and relax over your tour's final dinner. Overnight

Day 4: Tangier - Costa del Sol

Wake up to a relaxing breakfast in your hotel, and enjoy a morning of free time in Tangier to shop and soak up the sunny sights. Perhaps visit landmarks recommended by your guide, such as the fishing port with its idyllic whitewashed houses. After your free time, meet your guide at the prearranged time, check out of your hotel, and then travel back across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain.
